Acoustic Fire Doors
Locations that require airbourne sound insulation in addition to fire safety. Acoustic features are expressed according to the classification standard ISO 717-1 and fire-proof features according to the classification standard SFS-EN 13501-2:
- Capability to prevent fire and flame spread are tested acc. to fire test standard SFS-EN 1634-1
- Mechanical strength is tested acc. to SFS-EN 14600
- Airbourne sound insulation is tested acc. to ISO 140-3, RW = 34 dB
Size limitations of fire classified doors
Minimum size as classified fire door: 5 x 15,75M
Maximum size as classified fire door: 11,5 x 24,15M
